FestivalAtlas Field Guide Program
Join the creator cohort documenting the world’s cultural heartbeat. Capture authentic festival shorts, help travellers plan the right season, and earn credits toward your own Atlas seat.
Why Field Guides Matter
FestivalAtlas is the living cultural calendar. Field Guides are the trusted correspondents who keep it alive—capturing modern, vertical stories from the celebrations the world rarely gets to see. Every mission you complete strengthens the global hub travelers rely on.
The Mission Flow
Choose a Mission
Browse the Field Guide board to see festivals tagged as needing creator media. Missions update before each season and rotate so fresh faces get the spotlight.
Capture the Story
Film a 15–45 second vertical short from inside the celebration, plus quick intro/outro snippets. Follow our ethics checklist to respect local communities.
Submit & Earn
Submit through your FestivalAtlas Field Guide dashboard. We review each mission, publish approved clips on FestivalAtlas (and our official channels), and update your renewal countdown automatically—Tier A wins knock $10 off, Tier B wins knock $5 off.
What You Deliver
Hero Short (15–45s)
Vertical 9:16 video capturing the signature festival moment, opening with festival + timing and closing with plan-now urgency.
Creator Intro & Outro
Two quick clips with your face on camera—introduce the celebration, then invite viewers to unlock the brief on FestivalAtlas.
Metadata Bundle
Festival semantic ID, filming dates, location coordinates, pronunciation tips, recommended thumbnail, and any relevant releases.
How You’re Credited
Every approved mission appears with “Captured by [Your Name], FestivalAtlas Field Guide” on festival cards, preview pages, detail pages, and official channel uploads. Share your mission on your own feeds for extra spotlight and priority on future assignments.
Membership Credits & Rotation
Earn as you document
Tier A wins knock $10 off your next renewal and Tier B wins shave $5. The countdown auto-applies at checkout, resets to your plan’s current annual price after renewal, and switches to recognition-only once you’ve earned a free year. Skip a renewal? The countdown resets—support can reinstate discounts case by case.
Built for variety
To keep the story global, Field Guides complete up to four Tier A missions per rolling year. Faces rotate, missions refresh, and the calendar stays alive for travellers everywhere.
