Each September, the Dutch town of Zundert stages the largest flower parade in the world, when colossal floats covered entirely in dahlias roll through the streets. Neighborhood teams spend the whole year designing their giants and pinning on millions of blooms by hand, in a dazzling feat of community held since 1936.
