Each August, the Falls Road area of Belfast fills with Féile an Phobail, two weeks of music, talks, and street events that have grown into one of Ireland's largest community festivals. Begun in 1988 during the Troubles to lift a struggling community's spirits, it remains a proud celebration of West Belfast's culture and resilience.
