Each March, the city of Valencia fills with hundreds of towering ninots, satirical figures built by local artists and set up in the plazas. After days of deafening daytime firecracker shows, the whole city goes up in flames on the final night as the great sculptures are burned, in a spectacular tribute to Saint Joseph.

Daily Mascletà

Massive midday shows of synchronized firecrackers and gunpowder that shake the plaza with thunderous rhythms. Visitors stand eagerly in the square or nearby balconies to feel the blasts and marvel at the precision of national fireworks teams.

La Cremà

Witnessing the night sky lit by flames and fireworks as each monument is set ablaze, climaxing with the grandest Mount at City Hall. It is a thrilling communal spectacle symbolizing the purging of the old and welcoming spring.
