Bohinj, Slovenia

Sep 20, 2026ConfirmedSource

Each autumn, the valley of Bohinj welcomes its herds home with the Traditional Cows' Ball. Adorned cattle and mountain herdsmen come down from the high pastures to music and festivity, in a long-running celebration of the alpine cattle farming and cheese-making that have shaped the valley for centuries.
