Each December, the historic Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen transform into a Christmas wonderland of lights, fir trees, and market stalls. Families wander the glowing promenades among amusement rides and Santa's cottage, in a fairy-tale celebration of the Danish jul at the heart of the city's beloved old pleasure garden.

Visitors see the Tivoli Youth Guard and Santa welcoming guests, a festive parade along the main avenue and lighting of the Christmas lights.

Tivoli Youth Guard Christmas Parade

Witness youth in red uniforms and bearskin hats march through the park entertaining crowds with music and festive cheer.

Tivoli Santa Lucia Parade

Hundreds of children and choir members in white gowns carry candles, creating a magical illuminated procession through the Gardens.
