Each year, the ruined castle of Schellenberg in Liechtenstein hosts the Princely Tattoo, a grand open-air show of military bands and music. Marching bands, pipers, and brass ensembles perform beneath the old walls, in a spectacle inspired by Europe's great military tattoos and made to honor the little principality's heritage.
