Femundløpet is an annual long-distance sled-dog race starting and finishing in the UNESCO World Heritage mining town of Røros, Norway. Founded in 1990 and organized by Femundløpet AS since 2012, it features four classes (F650 at 647 km, F450 at 397 km, F200 at 200 km, and Fjunior at 200 km) with teams traversing eight municipalities across the mountain landscapes of Trøndelag and Hedmark before returning to Røros. It is widely regarded as the world's largest sled-dog race by number of competitors, with approximately 200 teams and 600–700 volunteers, and has hosted the World Championships in long-distance dog sledding (2011 and 2025).
