St Nicholas & Houseker Visits

Kleeschen

Each December 6, children across Luxembourg wake to find that Kleeschen, the country's own Saint Nicholas, has visited in the night with sweets and small gifts. In the days before, he appears at schools and squares with his shadowy helper, the Houseker, in a beloved tradition that delights the young.
