St. Leonhard's Ride

Leonhardifahrt Kreuth

Kreuth, Germany

Nov 6, 2025ConfirmedSource

Each November 6, the village of Kreuth honors St. Leonhard, patron of horses and farmers, with a riding procession. After Mass, decorated horse-drawn carts and costumed riders parade in a custom over five centuries old, in a celebration of the deep Catholic rural faith of the Bavarian Alps.
