St Anthony's Escudella Feast and Charity Auction

Escudella de Sant Antoni i dels Encants

Encamp, Andorra

Dates to be announcedDates pending

Each January, the Andorran parish of Encamp gathers to cook and share great cauldrons of escudella, the hearty Catalan stew, in honor of Saint Anthony. Free bowls are ladled out to all and a charity auction follows, in a warm winter tradition tied to the old pig slaughter and the patron of farm animals.
