Each year, the village of Koszęcin celebrates the cuisine of Silesia with the Silesian Flavours festival. Chefs and artisans gather for cooking contests, demonstrations, and tastings of traditional and modern Silesian dishes, in a celebration begun in 2006 to share the region's rich food heritage.
