Every two years, the city of Seville, one of the great cradles of flamenco, gathers the art's finest performers for the Bienal de Flamenco. Weeks of singing, guitar, and dance fill the theatres and old courtyards, in the most prestigious flamenco festival in the world, held where so much of the music was born.
