Seto Song Festival (Leelo Day)

Each year, the Seto people of southeastern Estonia gather in Värska for Leelopäev, a great day of their ancient polyphonic singing. Hundreds of singers from the villages join in a massed concert and procession of the leelo, a UNESCO-honored chant in which a lead voice is answered by the whole choir.
