Corso Fleuri originated as a way to highlight Alsace’s horticultural heritage (especially dahlia cultivation). It has become a symbol of Sélestat’s community spirit: neighborhoods compete to design the most creative float. The festival reflects Alsatians’ love of pageantry, flower crafts, and summer leisure. It coincides with village wine festivals (the Route des Vins) and beer celebrations, making August a peak of local fest...
