Sar Carnival

Entroido do Sar

Each pre-Lenten season the Sar neighborhood of Santiago de Compostela keeps its Entroido, with an afternoon parade of costumed groups and floats and folk characters like the Xenerais da Ulla. The carnival is part of Galicia's rich late-winter festival culture.

Media proof note

The Sar Carnival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
