Like its Consuegra counterpart, this event honors saffron’s cultural role in La Mancha. The community built up the festival since 1987 to promote cultural identity and local traditions in the rural barrio.
This is a modest community event: visitors should dress casually, show respect for elderly attendees, and avoid entering private gardens. Interact politely and be mindful of local Spanish customs.
Attendance can be appropriate while active documentation is not. Let local boundaries define your role.

Some celebrations are best approached quietly: arrive prepared, follow posted rules, and leave without turning the moment into content.
