Saint Roch (San Roke) is the patron saint of Laudio, venerated as the protector against plagues. His festival blends religious procession (Solemn Mass in his honor) with strongly local customs: each barrio competes in events like carrying giantcohetskias and folk dancing. It is one of Álava province’s longest fiestas, reflecting the town’s historical identities and solidarity among districts of Laudio.
