Saint Agatha Festival

Fiesta de Santa Águeda de Cogolludo

Cogolludo, Spain

Feb 5, 2026ExpectedSource

Each February, the town of Cogolludo honors Saint Agatha with a festival long known as the women's day. Women take over the civic roles, including a one-day mayor, and share the traditional pan de Santa Águeda, in a celebration that turns the old order over for a day in her honor.

Media proof note

The Saint Agatha Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
