Sagra del Redentore

Nuoro, Italy

Aug 22 - 29, 2026Confirmed

Each August, the Sardinian city of Nuoro celebrates the Sagra del Redentore, honoring the great bronze statue of Christ atop Monte Ortobene. Pilgrims climb the mountain and one of Sardinia's largest costume parades fills the streets, as folk groups from across the island gather in their finest traditional dress.

Media proof note

The Sagra del Redentore record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
