On the Sunday nearest November 11, Gibraltar gathers at its war memorial for the solemn Remembrance Sunday service. Wreaths are laid and a silence falls to honor the soldiers and Allied forces who fell in war, in a ceremony close to the heart of a territory that has long been a great British garrison.
