Carnevale Rabadan

Bellinzona, Switzerland

Feb 4 - 9, 2027Expected

Each year before Lent, the Swiss town of Bellinzona erupts into Rabadan, one of Ticino's largest and oldest carnivals. Costumed crowds, satirical floats, and noisy bands fill the streets around the medieval castles for four days of music, dancing, and foam battles, in a celebration whose name means joyful racket.
