The story behind it
La tradición de las “12 uvas de la suerte” en Nochevieja se originó en España a principios del siglo XX y se popularizó a lo largo del país. Puerta del Sol, con su emblemático reloj y la bola dorada, es el punto de encuentro más icónico: desde 1962 su puesta de año se retransmite por televisión nacional y mundial. Aquí madrileños y visitantes reciben el nuevo año al unísono y con cánticos tradicionales.
