Each year, the city of Prague hosts an international folklore festival celebrating the many peoples who share the Czech capital. Folk dancers and musicians in traditional costume perform in the Old Town squares and a grand gala concert, in a colorful gathering, held since 1999, that honors cultures from around the world.
