Palio of Saint James

Palio di San Jacopo

Gallicano, Italy

Jul 23 - 25, 2027ExpectedSource

Each summer the Tuscan town of Gallicano honors St. James with the Palio di San Jacopo, as its three districts, Borgo Antico, Bufali, and Monticello, compete with elaborate allegorical floats and choreographed displays. The patronal festival grows from a friendly rivalry among the town's old quarters.

Media proof note

The Palio of Saint James record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
