Palio di Parma

Parma, Italy

Sep 18 - 19, 2026Expected

Each September, the city of Parma revives a medieval race called the Corsa dello Scarlatto. Costumed pageantry and competition reenact the Scarlet Race once run to mark a noble wedding in 1313, in a celebration that recalls an event tied to the old Correggio family of Parma.

Media proof note

The Palio di Parma record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
