Each August the old winegrowing suburb of Neustift am Walde in Vienna's 19th district holds its multi-day Kirtag, a folk festival rooted in the heritage of its vineyards and Heurigen taverns. Wine, music, and the easy pleasures of the wine-tavern fill the village streets at the edge of the city.
