Key moments

Day 1 · Jun 3

Nestinarska igra (Fire-dance ritual)

Spectators gather around the glowing embers to watch as the nestinari, inspired by Sts. Constantine and Helena, ritually dance on the coals. The air is filled with drum and flute music, and the participants hold red-covered icons. Visitors can see the entire path of the fire-passage and the trance-like dance up close, under the starlit sky.
