Each summer the town of Želiezovce fills with Hungarian folk music, dance, and crafts, drawing dozens of ensembles from the Hungarian communities of southern Slovakia. Held since the 1960s, it has become a proud yearly showcase of the minority's songs, costumes, and traditions.
