Fiesta de Moros y Cristianos en honor del Santo Cristo de la Yedra

Válor, Spain

Dates to be announcedDates pending

Each year, the village of Válor in Granada honors the Holy Christ of Yedra with a Moors and Christians reenactment. The mock battle recalls the 1568 Morisco revolt led by Aben Humeya, born in the village itself, in a celebration that ties local memory to a turning point in Andalusian history.
