Each January, the greatest circus acts on earth gather under the big top in Monte Carlo for a world-famous competition. Founded in 1974 by a prince who loved the circus, the festival awards its coveted Golden Clown to the finest performers, in a dazzling celebration of acrobats, animals, and old-fashioned wonder.
