Masopust Carnival (Bečov nad Teplou)

Masopust v Bečově nad Teplou

Each February the town of Bečov nad Teplou keeps Masopust, the Czech pre-Lenten carnival, with a masked parade through town and a traditional zabijačka pig-feast at the old Stará Pošta. It marks the last days of feasting before Lent in the warm, hearty style of Bohemian winter.

Media proof note

The Masopust Carnival (Bečov nad Teplou) record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
