Each spring, the town of Lorca stages a Holy Week unlike any other, where two rival brotherhoods, the White and the Blue, compete in dazzling biblical pageants. Richly embroidered banners, Roman costumes, and thundering chariot races fill the streets, in a celebration as much spectacle as solemn devotion.
