Each year, the Latvian city of Liepāja celebrates the heritage of its historic Liv quarter with the Līvas ciema svētki. Music, craft, and tradition fill the old Livonian district, in a celebration that honors the identity of one of Kurzeme's leading intangible-heritage events and the people who gave the quarter its name.
