Lehár Operetta Festival

Lehár Festival Bad Ischl

Bad Ischl, Austria

Jul 11 - Aug 30, 2026ConfirmedSource

Each summer, the spa town of Bad Ischl, once the Habsburg emperors' holiday retreat, hosts Europe's largest operetta festival. Named for the composer Franz Lehár, who made the town his home, it fills the season with lavish productions of the waltzing, witty operettas of old Vienna.

Media proof note

The Lehár Operetta Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
