Vysokopillya was founded by German Lutheran settlers (hence the name Kronau). The modern Kronau-Fest commemorates this heritage by mixing Polish/German-Ukrainian traditions in music and cuisine. It is organized locally by the village council.

Attendance can be appropriate while active documentation is not. Let local boundaries define your role.
Avoid filming or photographing moments that feel private, sacred, or restricted.
