Each September, the Tyrolean village of Kirchberg welcomes its cattle home from the high pastures with an Almabtrieb and Alp festival. A farmers' parade of flower-decked cows joins a lively village celebration in the Kitzbühel Alps, in a warm tribute to the mountain farming cycle at the heart of local life.
