Jotvingian Festival

Jotvingių šventė (Leipalingyje)

Leipalingis, Lithuania

Aug 8, 2026Expected

Each year, the Lithuanian village of Leipalingis honors the Yotvingians, the ancient Baltic tribe from which it takes its name. Historical reenactments, folk music, and crafts connect the modern village to its early medieval roots, in a celebration of a long-vanished people whose legacy still marks this corner of Dzūkija.

Media proof note

The Jotvingian Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
