Islands That Speak Festival

Isole che Parlano

Palau, Italy

Sep 6 - 14, 2026Expected

Each September, the Gallura region of Sardinia hosts Isole che Parlano, a nine-day festival of "islands that speak." Music, literature, visual art, and folk traditions fill rural palaces, squares, and beaches, in a celebration, born in 1996, created by local cultural activists to preserve and share Gallura's identity.

Media proof note

The Islands That Speak Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
