Each year, the village of Valea Cerului near Suplacu de Barcău celebrates its Slovak heritage with a youth folklore festival. Amateur Slovak ensembles from Bihor and beyond perform community songs and dances in costume on the village stage, in a celebration, held since 2004, of the living traditions of this Slovak community.
The International Slovak Youth Folklore Festival record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.

Valea Cerului is known as a Hungarian/Reformist Slovak village in Bihor County. Since 2004, it has hosted Slovák Mládežnícky Folklórny Čerpotok. The festival’s intent is to unite Slovak youth and preserve their unique ethnocultural identity.
