International Fireclay Sculpture Symposium

Starptautiskais šamota skulptūru simpozijs

Jelgava, Latvia

Jul 23 - Aug 2, 2025Expected

Each year, the Latvian city of Jelgava gathers ceramic artists to shape monumental sculptures from local fireclay. Over ten days, the works rise and are fired and unveiled in public, in a symposium, held since 2013, that draws on the deep clay-working heritage of the Zemgale region.

Media proof note

The International Fireclay Sculpture Symposium record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
