Jan 10, 2027Expected
Each winter, the town of Sighetu Marmației celebrates Ukrainian Christmas with a festival of carols and customs. Costumed carolers parade from the Greek-Catholic church to the town square for a concert of kolyadky and ethnic dance, in a celebration of the rich Carpathian Ukrainian winter heritage of the Maramureș borderland.
The International Festival of Ukrainian Carols and Winter Customs record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
