International Festival of the Singing of the Mines

Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas

La Unión, Spain

Jul 29 - Aug 8, 2026ConfirmedSource

Each summer, the old mining town of La Unión hosts one of flamenco's most prestigious festivals, devoted to the songs born in the mines. Singers compete for top honors in the haunting cantes mineros, the deep-voiced mining styles of flamenco, in a celebration the town has held since 1961.
