Each year, the small Kosovo village of Kukaj comes alive with EtnoFest, a celebration of the country's living folk heritage. Among old stone houses, visitors find traditional crafts, rural customs, and folk performance, in a festival started in 2009 by local artists to keep their village's old ways alive.
