International Anniversary Pilgrimage of May to Fátima

Peregrinação Internacional Aniversária de Maio

Fátima, Portugal

May 12 - 13, 2026ConfirmedSource

Each May, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims gather at the Sanctuary of Fátima to mark the first of the 1917 apparitions, when three shepherd children said the Virgin Mary appeared to them. Candlelit processions, rosaries, and Masses fill the great square, in the most important Marian pilgrimage of the year.
