Each year, the city of Tulcea celebrates the many peoples of the Danube Delta with Interethnic Week. Armenian, Lipovan, Roma, Turkish, Tatar, and Greek ensembles fill the main square with nightly music and dance, in a celebration of the rich multiethnic identity at the meeting of the river and the sea.
