Each year, the Strandzha town of Malko Tarnovo celebrates its dance traditions with the festival Horo in Strandzha. Folk groups parade and perform, building to a great mass horo circle dance and the famous nestinar fire dance, in a celebration, held since around 2019, of the distinctive heritage of these wild Bulgarian hills.
