Hora Costumelor (Folk Costume Parade & Hora Dance)

Hora Costumelor la Pietrarii de Jos

On Palm Sunday, the Romanian village of Pietrari celebrates its folk costume and dance with the Hora Costumelor. A parade of traditional dress through the village leads into a great hora circle dance, in a celebration, now decades old, devoted to the art and beauty of the region's handmade costume.
