Each year, the Castilian town of Hita recreates medieval life with a festival held since the early 1960s. Famed as the setting of the great medieval poem El Libro del Buen Amor, the town fills with jousts, music, and feasting, in a celebration of the literary and historic heritage that gives Hita its lasting fame.
