Historic Centre Parishes' Magusto

Magusto da União de Freguesias do Centro Histórico do Porto

Porto, Portugal

Nov 11, 2026ExpectedSource

Each November 11, on St. Martin's Day, the parishes of Porto's historic center gather their elders for a communal Magusto. Roasted chestnuts and the year's new wine are shared in the old Portuguese way, in a warm celebration of São Martinho that brings neighbors and generations together against the autumn chill.

Media proof note

The Historic Centre Parishes' Magusto record is date-tracked, but stronger reviewed Field Guide media would make it easier to inspect.
